Résumé Pour la première fois, une famille hassidique de Jérusalem ouvre ses portes et se livre à la caméra. Filmée sur une période de trois ans, nous les rejoignons lors de la célébration du Sabbath, et autres événements. From the birth of their fourth child, Nachman, to the birth of their fifth child, Yoseph, Rivki and Motta, an Ultra-Orthodox couple from Jerusalem’s "Meah Shearim" neighborhood, opened up their home and let in a camera, allowing a rare glimpse into their world. They talk about their “shidduch”, their engagement and their wedding. It is unusual for an Ultra-Orthodox couple to let a “secular” camera into their home and to share their daily routine with the viewers: everything from the ritual hand-washing that they perform every morning to the festive occasion when Nachman is taken for his first day in school. “These are people who share the same religion and the same country as me, so similar, yet so different. Is there really a great distance to travel before total alienation occurs? I decided to put politics aside and try to get to know them better. I found a family that changed my preconceptions and removed any hostility” (Guy Michael).
