L'un était israélien de naissance, un prince et général, alors que l'autre était un immigrant qui ne perdit jamais son accent étranger. L'un était admiré, aimé par le public, pendant que le l'autre était considéré comme "à moitié arabe". Ce film propose une reconsidération de cette relation d'amour et de haine qui unissait ces deux leaders, depuis leur rencontre jusqu'aux évènements majeurs qu'ont croisé leurs vies au fil des années ; depuis l’établissement de l’État d'Israël jusqu'à l'assassinat tragique de Rabin. This documentary explores the complicated and insightful professional and personal relationship between two legendary Israeli leaders - Shimon Peres and Yitzhak Rabin. One was Israeli born, a prince and general, while the other was a new immigrant, a greenhorn that never lost the foreign mannerisms and accent, until this very day. One was admired, loved by the public, while the other was considered “half Arab” (although he held hawkish views through most of his political career) and never succeeded at the voting booths, not even once! The film reviews these leaders’ love / hate relationship through encounters between them and major events in their lives throughout the years; from the establishment of the Israeli state through the tragic assassination of Rabin.
