Résumé	Un hôtel de luxe transformé centre d'absorption, un endroit où le temps s'est arrêté. Huit étages, 700 chambres, de longs couloirs, un bureau d'accueil, un club, des pelouses vertes et les vestiges d'une piscine. C'est l'histoire d'un groupe d'anciens immigrants de l'ex-Union soviétique, tous résident à l'hôtel Diplomat de Jérusalem. Ces personnes, qui sont venues en Israël à la recherche d'une nouvelle maison, se sont retrouvées en permanence dans un hôtel. L'extérieur de l'hôtel - un grand bâtiment entouré de pelouses vertes - ne dit rien de son intérieur. Pourtant, une fois que l'on entre dans le bâtiment, on est submergé par la sensation que c'est un endroit figé dans le temps. Eight floors, 700 rooms, long corridors, a reception office, a club, green lawns and the vestiges of a pool. This is the story of a group of veteran immigrants of the former Soviet Union, all residing at the Diplomat Hotel in Jerusalem. These people, who came to Israel in search of a new home, found themselves permanently living in a hotel. The hotel's exterior – a large building surrounded by green lawns – tells nothing about its interior. Yet once one enters the building, one is overcome by the sensation this is a place frozen in time. The world revealed on the hotel's crowded interiors is a self-enclosed community – a world of immigrants who have not been integrated into Israeli society: Soviet war heroes, musicians, teachers, and lonely students all living under the same roof. This is the story of the Diplomat Hotel's residents, living among us as strangers.
