Résumé	Le réalisateur israélien d'origine argentine Jorge Gurvich et le journaliste Shlomo Slutzky se sont rencontrés à Buenos Aires dans les années 1970, avant l'émigration des deux hommes en Israël. Trente ans plus tard, ils retournent en Argentine pour enquêter sur l'histoire, l'identité, la patrie et les attitudes judéo-argentines vis-à-vis d'Israël. Pendant six ans, Gurvich et Slutzky interrogent divers Juifs d'Argentine et examinent leur décision de rester en Argentine ou d'émigrer en Israël. Au fur et à mesure que les cinéastes approfondissent leur recherche de réponses, leurs propres expériences et attitudes deviennent centrales dans le film. Pour Gurvich, vivre en Israël semble naturel et pourtant, il est ramené en Argentine. "J'ai de la famille en Israël, je suis un cinéaste israélien, mais mon coeur est toujours là, dans l'Argentine lointaine, et cela me déchire." Argentinean-born Israeli filmmaker Jorge Gurvich and journalist Shlomo Slutzky met in Buenos Aires in the 1970s before both men emigrated to Israel. Thirty years later, they return to Argentina to investigate Jewish-Argentine history, identity, homeland and attitudes towards Israel. Over a period of six years, Gurvich and Slutzky interview a variety of Argentinean Jews, examining their decisions to remain in Argentina or emigrate to Israel. As the filmmakers delve deeper in their search for answers, their own experiences and attitudes become central to the film. For Gurvich, living in Israel seems natural and yet, he is drawn back to Argentina. “I have family in Israel, I’m an Israeli filmmaker, but my heart is still here, in faraway Argentina, and this tears me apart.”
