Résumé	Peut-on être prêtre catholique et juif observateur en même temps ? 12 ans après avoir été ordonné prêtre catholique polonais, Romuald Waszkinel découvre qu'il est né de parents juifs et qu'il s'appelle Jacob Weksler. Le film suit son étonnant voyage : de la direction d'une messe dans une église en Pologne à la vie en tant que juif observateur dans un kibboutz religieux en Israël. Romuald est déchiré entre deux identités, entre être Romuald Waszkinel ou Jacob Weksler. Il est incapable de renoncer à l'un ou l'autre, et est donc rejeté par les deux religions et par l'État d'Israël. Il est tenu de choisir. Can one be a Catholic priest and an Observant Jew at the same time? 12 years after he was ordained as a Polish Catholic priest, Romuald Waszkinel discovers that he was born to Jewish parents, and that his name was Jacob Weksler. The film follows his amazing journey: from conducting mass in a church in Poland to life as an observant Jew in a religious kibbutz in Israel. Romuald is torn between two identities, between being Romuald Waszkinel or Jacob Weksler. He is unable to renounce either, and therefore is rejected by both religions and the state of Israel. He is required to choose.
