Résumé	Lorsque la cinéaste Ibtisam Mara'ana a quitté son village arabo-musulman pour s'installer à Tel-Aviv, elle n'aurait jamais imaginé trouver l'amour avec un Juif. Dans ce film très personnel, Ibtisam filme son voyage avec Jonathan, un immigrant juif du Canada. Deux étrangers en quête d'appartenance dans une nouvelle ville, ils tombent amoureux, mais l'amour peut-il tout conquérir ? Peu après son arrivée, Ibtisam rejoint un parti politique de gauche (Meretz) et court vers la Knesset. Quand Israël envahit Gaza, Ibtisam met fin à sa campagne pour protester contre le soutien de son parti à la guerre. Malgré tous leurs efforts, la lutte pour l'identité en pleine crise politique pèse sur la relation. Quelque chose a été perdu. Lorsque le grand-père de Jonathan, âgé de 90 ans, revient en Israël pour une dernière visite au kibboutz qu'il a aidé à fonder en 1948, le couple l'accompagne et fait un voyage dont il ne revient pas. When filmmaker Ibtisam Mara’ana left her Arab-Muslim village to move to Tel Aviv, she never imagined she would find love with a Jewish man. In this very personal film, Ibtisam documents her journey with Jonathan, a recent Jewish immigrant from Canada. As two strangers in a new city searching for belonging, they fall in love, but can love conquer all? Soon after arrival, Ibtisam joins a left wing political party (Meretz) and runs for the Knesset. When Israel invades Gaza, Ibtisam ends her campaign in protest of her party’s support of the war. Despite their best efforts, the struggle for identity in the midst of political crisis takes its toll on the relationship. Something has been lost. When Jonathan’s 90 year old grandfather returns to Israel for a last visit to the Kibbutz he helped to found in 1948, the couple accompanies him and makes a journey from which there is no return.
