| Résumé | Un portrait cinématographique du Professeur Zygmunt Bauman, qui est l'un des principaux représentants de la pensée intellectuelle polonaise. Le noyau du film est basé sur la brève visite d'Anna Zeidler-Janiszewska à la maison du professeur à Lawnswood Gardens à Leeds au printemps 2010. Le film comprend des archives et d'autres interviews, explorant les liens entre "Modernité et Holocauste" de Bauman et "L'hiver au matin", un journal du ghetto de Varsovie écrit par Janina Bauman, l'épouse du professeur, décédée en décembre 2009 "Lawnswood Gardens" is a 53-minute film portrait of Bauman, who serves as one of the main representatives of Polish intellectual thought. The core of the film is based on Anna Zeidler-Janiszewska's brief visit to the Professor's home at Lawnswood Gardens in Leeds in the spring of 2010. The film includes archive materials and other interviews, exploring the links between Bauman's "Modernity and the Holocaust" and "Winter in the Morning", a diary from the Warsaw Ghetto written by the Professor's wife Janina Bauman, who passed away in December 2009. |
