Résumé	Ce film est un voyage documentaire et intime, qui essaie d'expliquer cette énigme parentale que sont les travailleurs thaïlandais, quand les liens affectifs et d'amour entre eux et leurs enfants reposent sur le téléphone et le courrier. A travers mon mode de vie religieux et au kibboutz, j'essaie de comprendre leur conflit intérieur, entre la nécessité financière et les liens d'affection. A la poursuite d'une réponse, j'arrive en Thaïlande où mes questions ne font qu'augmenter... Un film humanitaire, qui fait sourire le spectateur et donne matière à réflexion. The filmmaker, living in a Kibbutz and father to seven children, tries to understand the Thai workers` inner conflict of financial gain vs. family ties. He joins one of these couples on their return trip to Thailand. A thought- provoking film which takes viewers from smiles to tears.
