Résumé	Une histoire d'une famille arabe bourgeoise à Jaffa plongée dans la tourmente par l'arrivée de trois enfants arabes de Cisjordanie. Leur mère étant morte et leur père en prison, trois enfants de Cisjordanie sont introduits clandestinement en Israël pour être confiés à George et Rita, des parents éloignés qui vivent à Jaffa. Rita, sans enfants, les accueille comme s'ils étaient les siens, tandis que George se méfie des conséquences potentielles s'ils sont pris en train de cacher des étrangers en situation irrégulière. Tout près de là, un réalisateur britannique tourne un drame historique qui se déroule en 1947 et invite George à y jouer un rôle. Les deux histoires s'entremêlent, et des tensions apparaissent. With their mother dead and their father in prison, three children from the West Bank are smuggled into Israel to stay with George and Rita, distant relatives who live in Jaffa. Childless Rita embraces the children as her own, while George is wary of the potential ramifications if they are caught hiding illegal aliens. Nearby, a British director is filming an historical drama set in 1947 and invites George to play a role. The two stories intertwine, and tensions erupt. Acclaimed director Ram Loevy’s powerful and intelligent film is a pointed commentary on the roots—and future—of the Israeli Palestinian conflict. A story of a bourgeois Arab family in Jaffa thrown into turmoil by the arrival of three Arab children from the West Bank.
