| Résumé | Dimona, Israël, 2003 : Six chômeurs d'une ville oubliée du sud commencent un cours de production télévisuelle. Après des tests d'admission draconiens, ils s'en vont dans un tout nouveau monde de création cinématographique. Les personnages prennent la caméra et la tournent vers eux-mêmes et leur environnement. Six personnages essentiels créent un document émouvant, un témoignage direct, libre de stéréotypes et de clichés - le portrait d'une société en détresse. Dimona, Israel, 2003: Six unemployed residents of a forgotten southern Town start a TV production Course. After the nerve wrecking admission tests, they are off to a brand new world of cinematic creation, a refuge from their harsh existence and a promise to a different future, maybe a less gloomy one, in the cruel realty of the contemporary Israeli periphery.As the course advances, it brings with it ups and downs. A movie with in a movie is formed as the characters take over the camera and turn it towards themselves and their surroundings. Six vital characters create an moving document, a first hand testimony, free from stereotypes and clichés – the portrait of a society in distress. |
