Résumé	Torgny Segerstedt était l'un des éminents journalistes suédois du 20ème siècle. Rédacteur en chef du quotidien économique Handelstidningen Göteborg, il a mené une bataille féroce contre Adolf Hitler et le fascisme pendant les années de guerre. C'était un combat difficile, rendu possible rendue possible grâce à sa réputation, la puissance de sa persuasion et le fait qu'il avait des amis hauts placés, notamment son amour, Maja Forssman une intellectuelle juive et femme de son éditeur . Superbement filmé en noir et blanc, "The Last Sentence" est une histoire vraie, poétique et dramatique. Torgny Segerstedt (Jesper Christensen) was one of the leading journalists in Sweden in the 20th century. As managing editor of the Gothenburg economic daily Handelstidningen, he fought a one-man battle against Adolf Hitler and fascism throughout the war years. It was a difficult fight, only made possible because of his reputation, the power of his conviction, and the fact that he had friends in high places, not least among them his lover, the Jewish intellectual Maja Forssman (Pernilla August), the wife of his publisher. Exquisitely filmed in black and white, The Last Sentence is a dramatic and poetic true story.
