Résumé	Nous sommes en 1947 : la Palestine est sous mandat britannique. Les sionistes se battent pour la création d’un Etat juif en Palestine. Un membre de la résistance armée juive vient d’être condamné à mort par les autorités anglaises. En représailles, la résistance a kidnappé un officier britannique qu’ils essaient d’échanger contre leur ami. Les insurgés passent la nuit ensemble, en attendant les résultats de la négociation. Si, à l’aube, les Britanniques pendent leur ami, l’un d’entre eux exécutera l’officier anglais retenu en otage. A psychological thriller based on the novel by Elie Wiesel. The story is set in Palestine in 1947, during the British mandate period. The Zionists are fighting for the establishment of a Jewish state. When the British deny entry to the survivors of the concentration camps coming by boat to Palestine, they become “enemy number one” of the Zionist project. A member of the armed Jewish underground is sentenced to death by the British authorities. In return, the resistance kidnap a British officer. The insurgents spend the night together, awaiting the outcome of the negotiation. If the British hang their friend at dawn, one of them will shoot the British officer held as a hostage.
