Résumé	Le plus grand honneur pour un cantor est de diriger les prières pour les jours saint et attirer les congrégations pour écouter une belle voix qui chante une belle mélodie. Pour Guedalia, un ancien cantor ultra-orthodoxe de 50 ans éternel célibataire qui vit à Jérusalem avec sa mère, cet honneur est toujours juste hors de sa portée. Guedalia a une belle voix mais a aussi un terrible trac à chaque fois qu'il doit apparaître en public. Cependant, quand une petite communauté dans une ville balnéaire endormie l'invite pour la prière du Nouvel An, une lueur d'espoir entre dans son cœur. La mer, le Nouvel An et l'amitié d'une jeune femme pourrait être son salut. Gedaliah has a beautiful voice but also has a terrible case of stage fright whenever he has to appear in public. However, when a small community in a sleepy beach town invites him for the New Year prayer, a glimmer of hope enters his heart. The sea, the New Year, and the friendship of a young woman could be his salvation.
