La documentariste Gruskova voulait immortaliser sa Mémoire et utiliser son documentaire comme un déclencheur pour susciter l’intérêt à cette personne. Le parcours d'une héroïne parachutiste Slovaque-Palestinienne. Haviva Reick lost her life during the mission in Slovakia, then a „burning house”. We wanted to make her immortal, to keep her memory. Anna Gruskovq’s documentary will undoubtedly achieve this. It will trigger interest also among those who have no idea about Haviva Reick. The documentary touches upon the key features of her personality and mission. We are convinced that the entire story makes a wonderful film. The feature documentary Return to a Burning House brings the dramatic story of the Slovak-Palestinian Jewish Parachuter and the heroine of the Slovak National Uprising Haviva Reick, a journey on her footsteps in Slovakia, Israel and England, her inner monologue and voices of contemporary women soldiers.
