| Résumé | Le film documente la vie de ces pêcheurs palestiniens et israélienstravaillant et vivant ensemble sur un rivage abandonné de la Méditerranée, à la frontière entre Israël et Gaza. Pendant 4 ans, le cinéaste représente la dynamique complexe de ce groupe d’hommes unis par le travail en commun alors que leurs communautés respectives sont dans un état constant de conflit. L’histoire se chargera de remettre les hommes à leur place. On the border between Gaza and Israel lies an isolated and abandoned beach where, against all odds, Israeli and Palestinian fishermen lived and fished together from 1999 to 2003. The Palestinians were teaching the Israelis ancient fishing techniques transmitted from one generation to the next. The Israelis, by their presence, were enabling the Palestinians to continue to fish in Israeli waters. |
