| Résumé | Un des premiers films produit à la suite des grands changements politiques en Hongrie. Il nous plonge dans l’atmosphère de la société hongroise des années 70′ . La cinéaste revient sur le personnage historique d’ Anna Kéthly , social démocrate ayant lutté contre la dictature fasciste puis communiste avant de s’exiler après l’échec de la révolution hongroise de 1956. Dans les années 1970, un jeune agent secret hongrois tente de la faire rentrer dans le pays cherchant peut être à la compromettre. Distinguished director Márta Mészáros’ film reflects political repression, love, exile and memory. Hungarian Social Democrat Anna Kethly, a progressive in Imre Nagy’s government and an outspoken critic of Jewish racial laws, inspires it. After the 1956 Soviet invasion, Anna moved to Belgium. In this drama set in the 1970s, a young Hungarian literary critic is sent by the State Security Police to exploit Anna’s homesickness. |
