| Résumé | Hanoukka à travers l'histoire fictive d'un jeune garçon et de son fidèle âne. Le garçon se porte volontaire pour mission d'obtenir de l'huile pour destinée à l'allumage de la menorah du temple. Il s'en va à Césarée et surmonte les dangers l'un après l'autre. Il retourne glorieux à Jérusalem en suivant les étoiles. This animated film featuring the voice of Herschel Bernardi traces the story of Chanukah through the fictional story of a young boy and his faithful donkey. The boy volunteers for a mission to obtain oil for the rededication of the temple. He goes off to Caesaria and overcomes one peril after another and returns successfully to Jerusalem by following the stars. Although the film takes considerable artistic license with the Chanukah story (especially with similarities to the Christmas story), it is still a delightful way to present Chanukah and the miracle of the oil. |
