Résumé	En 1977, Yossi est le premier enfant de Malki et Kalman, un couple ultra-orthodoxe de Jérusalem. Comme plusieurs centaines de bébés, il a reçu, à l'âge de 11 mois, un vaccin contre les malformations (ROR). En peu de temps, cet enfant doux, blond et actif s'est transformé en enfant aveugle, sourd, violent et hyperactif. Au cours des sept années suivantes, Malki et Kalman ont parcouru le monde à la recherche d'un remède pour Yossi, refusant de le placer dans une institution pour le reste de sa vie. Durant cette période, Yossi grandit sans communication avec le monde extérieur, muet et sourd - un enfant ressemblant à un animal. Quand Yossi avait huit ans, la famille a rencontré Shoshana - la femme qui lui a appris à prononcer un mot pour la première fois de sa vie, ce qui a permis à la source, qui était bloquée pendant toute son enfance perdue, de couler. Aujourd'hui, Yossi a 30 ans et veut se marier. De son point de vue, le mariage est un pas de plus sur la voie de se libérer du lourd fardeau qui pèse sur lui en cette journée désastreuse. Pour ses parents, Malki et Kalman Samuels, c'est une crise de la vie. Le film suit Yossi dans son voyage à la recherche d'une mariée - peut-il la trouver malgré son terrible handicap ? Comment ses parents feraient face à ses nouveaux besoins ? Comment pourraient-ils faire face au fait qu'il y a une limite à ce qu'ils peuvent lui donner ? Qu'est-ce qui apportera de la joie dans la vie de Yossi ? Quel est le sens du bonheur ? In 1977, Yossi was the first child born to Malki and Kalman, an ultra-orthodox couple from Jerusalem. Like many hundreds of babies, he received, at the age of 11 month, a defected vaccination (MMR). With in a short time, this sweet, blond, active child turned into a blind, deaf, violent and hyperactive child. In the next seven years, Malki and Kalman wandered around the world looking for a cure for Yossi, refusing to place him in an institution for the rest of his life. During this period, Yossi grew up with no communication with the outer world, tongue-tied and deaf – a child resembling an animal. When Yossi was eight years old, the family met Shoshana – the woman who taught Yossi to utter a word for the first time in his life, enabling the spring, which was blocked throughout his lost childhood, to flow. Today, Yossi is 30 years old and wants to get married. From his point of view marriage is another step on the path to freeing himself from the heavy burden placed on him on that disastrous day. For his parents, Malki and Kalman Samuels – this is a life crisis. The film follows Yossi on his journey to find a bride – can he find her despite his awful handicap? How would his parents cope with his new needs? How would they cope with the fact that there is a limit to what they can give him? What will bring joy to Yossi’s life? What is the meaning of happiness?
