| Résumé | Chaque année, des adolescents immigrants russes arrivent en Israël avec de grands rêves, laissant tout derrière eux. Une fois installés dans un centre d'intégration pour les nouveaux immigrants en Galilée, les adolescents sont "enfermés" dans un bâtiment de sept étages pendant neuf mois, dans un programme qui est censé les préparer à la vie en Israël. En fait, le centre devient de facto un camp d'été pour les adolescents, avec du sexe, de la drogue et du rock n' roll à profusion. Quand ils quittent le centre pour faire face à la société israélienne, la réalité et le choc culturel les attendent. Every year teenage Russian immigrants arrive in Israel with big dreams, leaving everything behind. Once settled into an absorption center for new immigrants in Israel’s Galilee, the teenagers are “locked” in a seven story building for nine months, in a program that is supposed to prepare them for life in Israel. In fact, the center becomes a de facto summer camp for the teenagers, with sex, drugs and rock n’ roll rampant. When they leave the center to face Israel's society, reality check and culture shock awaits them. |
