Résumé	Plus de 60 bébés ont été tués au cours de la dernière Intifada en Israël et dans les territoires sous l'Autorité palestinienne. «Ma fille est née le jour de l'Intifada. Quand elle a 6 mois, un bébé israélien est touché à la tête; un mois plus tard un bébé palestinien est tué. "C'est intolérable »(Adi Arbel). 11 mères israéliennes et palestiniennes décrivent de manière déchirante cette maternité qui avait pris un coup fatal, et la douleur insupportable causée par le meurtre d'enfants dans la région. Les confessions intimes se transforment en une conversation sur la maternité, le décès et de futures grossesses. Un rare aperçu sur la perte et le deuil des populations au milieu des conflits politiques violents. More than 60 babies were killed during the last Intifada in Israel and in the Palestinian Authority territories. 'My daughter was born on the day the Intifada set off. When she turned 6 months old an Israeli baby was shot in the head; a month later a Palestinian baby was shot. This for me was intolerable' (Adi Arbel). 11 Israeli and Palestinian mothers describe in a heartbreaking way the essence of motherhood that had taken a fatal blow, and the unbearable pain caused by the killing of children in the region. Intimate confessions turn into one conversation about motherhood, bereavement and new pregnancies. A rare insight into private loss and bereavement amidst violent political conflict.
