| Résumé | Deux jeunes femmes - l'une juive orthodoxe et l'autre musulmane - se rencontrent et deviennent amies comme enseignantes de première année dans une école publique à Brooklyn. Au cours de l'année, elles apprennent qu'elles ont beaucoup en commun, notamment le fait qu'elles vivent toutes deux des mariages arrangés.
