Encountering Jewish Identity in the 21st Century tells the story of Bus 740 on its Birthright trip and highlights the challenging, enlightening, and ultimately life-changing moments as participant’s question, reflect, and grapple with their own Jewish identity. Halfway into the trip the group is joined by eight Israeli soldiers on special leave from the army, who help to bridge the divide in understanding what it means to be a Jew today...and ultimately, what this means for the future of the Jewish people.
