Résumé	C'est l'histoire d'un garçon juif américain de 9 ans, David, et Kamal, également âgé de 9 ans, et un pauvre gamin de rue d'origine arabe vendant des cartes postales à des touristes dans la vieille ville de Jérusalem. Au premier abord, Kamal semble brillant et énergique, mais en réalité, il souffre sous la présence tyrannique de son grand-père qui veille à la vie de sa famille, de sa mère et de ses deux sœurs. This story is about a 9 year old American Jewish boy, David, and Kamal, also a 9 year old and a poor street urchin of Arab descent selling postcards to tourist in the stone enclosed Old City of Jerusalem. At a first glance, Kamal seems bright and energetic but in reality, he's suffering under the tyrannical presence of his grandfather who oversees the living of his family, his mother and two sisters.
