Résumé	L'histoire de Hadas Regal, une femme de 48 ans vivant en Israël. Après que son mari fut tué dans un accident de moto, Regal se retrouve sous la loupe de ses collègues membres du kibboutz, qui semblent menacés par son nouveau statut de veuve ... et une belle à cela. Perdue et vulnérable elle déménage à la grande ville de Tel-Aviv. Elle reprend sa vie où elle était avant qu'elle ne se marie et commence à rechercher sa la fille qu'elle a donné en adoption quand elle était une adolescente Elle habite en collocation avec Petel et Rachel, un triangle inhabituel de femmes, qui forment une allégeance de l'amitié et de soutien, découvrent qu'elles ont plus en commun que ce qu'elles auraient pu croire.. Marzipan Flowers tells the story of Hadas Regal, a 48-year-old woman living in Israel. After her husband is killed in a freakish motorcycle accident, Regal finds herself under intense scrutiny from her fellow kibbutz members, who seem threatened by her new status as a widow... and a beautiful one at that. Lost and vulnerable Hadas moves to the big city, Tel-Aviv. She picks up her life where it was before she got married and begins looking for the daughter she gave up for adoption when she was a teen With the unexpected help from her roommate Petel and a colorful transgender woman by the name of Rachel, Hadas finds the strength to put her life together. This unusual triangle of women, who form an allegiance of friendship and support, discover they have more in common than they would have guessed.
