Résumé	Lazslo Somogyi Singer, Juif hongrois né en 1929, a survécu à la Shoah et au Stalinisme. Un groupe de six jeunes l'a rencontré, le temps d'une année scolaire. Parallèlement, les réalisateurs du film ont porté leur regard sur cet échange entre deux générations et leurs réalités respectives. Hors du commun, de sa conception à son contenu, le film rend compte avec tendresse et acuité de la difficulté à recueillir la parole d’un témoin mais aussi de la nécessité absolue de le faire… pendant qu'il en est encore temps. Lazslo Somogyi Singer, a Hungarian Jew born in 1929, survived the Holocaust and Stalinism. A group of six young students have met him regularly in Geneva, during a full school year, and took a trip with him to Hungary to the scene of his youth. ''Laci Bàcsi'' (''Uncle Lazslo'') is not only a film about the difficulties in rethinking the past, but also about the process itself of collecting the testimony of an exemplary life. It is a film about the enormous legacy of pain and grief that plagues the 20th century. And it is also about the importance of listening and sharing.
