Résumé	Circus Kids est un film sur une troupe de cirque éclectique de jeunes de St Louis qui se rendent en Israël pour rejoindre une troupe locale composée d'enfants juifs et arabes. C'est l'histoire d'un groupe d'enfants très différents qui découvrent qu'ils ne sont pas si différents dans le cirque artistique. Louis Arches est une troupe de cirque composée d'enfants issus d'un large éventail de milieux sociaux, économiques, raciaux et religieux. Jessica Hentoff, la fondatrice et chef de ce groupe unique d'enfants, a prouvé avec succès que peu importe d'où vous venez ou ce que vous avez vécu, qui vous êtes. Le vrai miracle des Arches n'est pas de voir ces adolescents exécuter des tours qui défient la mort devant des milliers de personnes, mais plutôt d'être témoins des relations qui se forment même quand ils n'ont rien d'autre en commun que le cirque. Poursuivant son expérimentation pour renverser les castes sociales, Jessica emmène les Arches en Israël où un esprit similaire dirige un programme similaire. Le rabbin Mark Rosenstein est aux prises avec les relations arabo-israéliennes depuis son émigration en 1967. Après les émeutes en Galilée en 2002, le rabbin Marc a décidé qu'il était temps de faire un réel effort pour combler le fossé entre Arabes et Juifs au niveau le plus fondamental d'Israël : ce sont les enfants. "Quelques-uns d'entre nous avons commencé à parler de la possibilité des arts comme moyen de rassembler les gens, de cette conversation est née l'idée du cirque comme forme d'art non verbal, basé sur la confiance mutuelle et sur le fait de surmonter la peur et de faire rire les gens", explique le Rabbin. "Ce serait une bonne méthode pour essayer de créer une sorte de culture commune dans cette partie du pays" et le cirque galiléen a été créé. Circus Kids is a film about an eclectic youth circus troupe from St Louis who travel to Israel to join a local circus troupe comprised of Jewish and Arabic children. It is a story of how a group of very different kids find out they are not so different through the art circus. The St. Louis Arches is a circus troupe made of children from a wide spectrum of social, economic, racial and religious backgrounds. Jessica Hentoff, the founder and head of this unique group of children, has successfully proven that it doesn’t matter where you’re from or what you’ve been through, just who you are. The real miracle of the Arches isn’t seeing these adolescents perform death-defying tricks in front of thousands of people, but rather witnessing the loving relationships that form even when they have nothing in common but circus. Furthering her experimentation in reversing social castes, Jessica takes the Arches to Israel where a kindred spirit runs a similar program. Rabbi Mark Rosenstein has been struggling with Arab-Israeli relations since his emigration in 1967. After the Galilee riots in 2002, Rabbi Mark decided it was time to make a real effort at bridging the gap between Arabs and Jews at Israel’s most fundamental level: it’s children. The Rabbi explained, "A few of us started to talk about the possibility of the arts as a way of bringing people together, out of that conversation grew the idea of Circus as an art form that is non-verbal, that is based upon mutual trust and on overcoming fear and on making people laugh. That this would be a good method to try create some kind of a common culture in this part of the country" So the Galilee Circus was created.
