In the Sheik Jarah Neighborhood in East Jerusalem, a beautiful building was allocated for a theatre and cultural centre. But rather than fulfill its original purpose, the building has become home to Palestinian families who’ve found themselves with no roof over their heads. A few of them, natives of Jerusalem, have lost their resident’s status, a few, Jordanians who married Women from Jerusalem and are fighting for a legal status, others have lost their homes to municipality bulldozers, all are poor and struggling. They are a reflection of the cruel reality faced by Palestinians in Jerusalem.
